Role Purpose:

Provide technical and operational support across all phases of the evaluation, working under the supervision of the Principal Evaluator and in close coordination with the broader evaluation team. This role ensures high-quality evidence gathering, analysis, and reporting while supporting effective teamwork with in-country consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Principal Evaluator in implementing the evaluation design, including data collection tools, protocols, and analysis frameworks.
Conduct desk reviews, literature reviews, and secondary data analysis, preparing background briefs and country profiles.
Assist in managing and coding qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring consistency and alignment with agreed evaluation methods.
Provide logistical and technical support to in-country consultants, facilitating remote collaboration and ensuring timely submission of quality inputs.
Contribute to drafting sections of reports under the guidance of the Principal Evaluator.
Participate in data triangulation and validation processes, helping to cross-check findings across multiple data sources.
Assist in preparing presentations, slide decks, and summaries for interim and final stakeholder meetings.
Ensure that all tasks follow the Global Fund's Evaluation Principles and the Quality Assurance Framework, with appropriate attention to diversity, gender, and equity.

Requirements

Master's degree or higher in public health, social sciences, evaluation, or related field.
3-5 years of professional experience in evaluation, research, or monitoring in global health or development contexts.
Demonstrated ability to support large, complex, multi-country evaluations.
Strong skills in data management and use of qualitative/quantitative software.
Excellent writing, analysis, and organizational skills.
Experience working in multicultural teams and supporting remote collaboration.
English proficiency required; French highly desirable.
Must be domiciled in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia or SE Asia
