  • Estimated hourly base pay: $27,40 (minimum) - $35.57 (midpoint) - $43,75 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Repair & Warranty Coordinator, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Repair & Warranty Coordinator processes, reviews and administers warranty claims including repairs and refunds in collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, quality, sourcing and engineering. This position works under a medium level of supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination: Receives, processes, and schedules incoming product. Creates and tracks work orders, maintains status in operating system, Follows standard process to meet customer expectations.
  • Communication: Communicates with appropriate members and cross-functional teams to perform analysis and determine work scope for product.
  • Quality: Accurately gathers and evaluates data, changes and maintains records per operating standards.
  • Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.

Key Skills:

  • Technical Capability: Performs scheduling, inventory, routing updates, and all necessary ERP transactions to ensure flow of product.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifies gap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes/procedures. Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex issues that arise during warranty processing. Anticipates potential issues and proactively identifies solutions.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrates understanding of mechanical systems and components. Solid understanding of full scope of assembly/repair and overhaul process.
  • Team Communication: Communicates effectively with team members, supervisors and cross-functional teams to support workflow and escalate immediate issues. Champions Woodward's Core Values.
  • Time Management: Proactively prioritizes time to complete assigned tasks within established schedules. Recognizes potential impact on efficiency and collaborates with applicable members to resolve.
  • Lean Mindset: Follows lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction. Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements. Supports and participates in lean initiatives and principles and drives a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Production Systems: Understands and adheres standardized work and escalates when cannot be followed. Actively participates in the daily management system.
  • Computer Skills: Uses basic software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, data entry tools) to complete tasks. Leverages specialized software where applicable.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures precision in tasks to maintain high quality standards. Follows instructions precisely and checks work for accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Works cooperatively with team members to support overall team objectives and workflow. Works well with team members and accepts feedback. Collaborates across teams, shares knowledge, and supports team goals. Builds strong cross-functional relationships and fosters a collaborative culture.
