Job Summary: The Medical Staff Coordinator will be primarily responsible for managing the privileging process for medical staff and allied health professionals. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical leadership and statewide teams.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 7:30 AM-3:30 PM Key Responsibilities: * Facilitate all aspects of credentialing, including appointment, reappointment, and privileging. * Process credentialing applications electronically from the CVO through clinical leadership review and final communication with providers. * Upload and maintain accurate data in the credentialing database. * Identify and follow up on missing or expired documentation in credentialing files. * Verify reappointment applications and track responses. * Ensure credentialing and privileging processes meet regulatory and industry standards. * Collaborate with chiefs of surgery to validate requested privileges and route approvals to the credentials committee. * Manage approximately 15 files simultaneously, with processes typically spanning multiple days. * Professionally communicate via email and phone with physician leaders. * Create, update, and distribute reports as needed. * Provide regular project updates to statewide medical staff services and quality teams. * Support other credentialing duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: * Associate's degree * Administrative experience * High attention to detail * Proficiency in navigating multiple databases and performing data entry *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
