The Mental Health Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management to identified clients and their families. The MHCM will work closely with families and Child & Family Services staff to stabilize them and connect them to longer term support. The CSW may provide some short-term services to individual children as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years Experience with children and families in a clinical social work capacity. Experience in a school or childcare setting and/or with children under age 5 is a plus. Attained licensure as an LCSW, LICSW, or LCMH is required Masters in Social Work, Counseling is required Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals. Excellent customer service, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems. Excellent crisis management skills. Able to pass EEC Background check which includes fingerprinting Must be able to show recent physical and MMR immunity Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality of information.
