| RESPONIBILITIES: 
 Provide thoughtful and timely legal counsel to business partners in support of strategic and tactical business initiatives Support underwriting team in the review, development, and drafting of clear and accurate policy languageAssist in the preparation and review of supporting insurance product documentation, including but not limited to comparisons, explanatory memorandums, ancillary agreements, marketing materials, and warrantiesResearch and review legal/regulatory issues impacting or potentially impacting all specialty lines of business Consult and provide interpretation on language development and analysis Identify and mitigate risk to Company by finding legally compliant solutions to business issues Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with management and internal business clients, agents, outside counsel and Company partners Support regulatory and state filings group as needed DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
 Admitted to practice law in at least one state in the United States with a JD from an accredited law school1-3+ years of legal experience in either a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in insurance Experience and/or knowledge of commercial/specialty insurance products is a plusSuperior research, writing, and communication skillsStrong initiative and work ethic Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to learn and develop Ability to work onsite in office a minimum of 4 days a week  This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
