Materials Management Coordinator - Purchasing - Full Time 8 Hour Day Shifts (Non-Union)
Apply Keck Medicine of USC Hospital Glendale, California The Materials Management Coordinator will provide support with all medical supplies, equipment for hospital departments, receives, stores, controls and delivers materials, equipment and supplies to various hospital departments. This position is responsible for the purchasing and procurement of supplies and equipment for the hospital departments. The Materials Coordinator is responsible for the development and maintenance of customer relations between Surgical Services Department and Materials Management. It is responsible for incorporating purchasing knowledge with established standards of practice. This position ensures quality and safe patient care through the procurement of appropriate products in a cost-effective manner. The Materials Coordinator works in collaboration with the management team to meet the procedural supplies and equipment needs for all USC Verdugo Hills. This position is also responsible for working with vendor's to ensure a good relationship between vendor and the hospital. Minimum Education: Minimum Experience/Knowledge: Minimum of two years' hospital experience in the OR/ Materials Management. Knowledge of computers and how they work in a Material Management setting preferred.
