We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven nursing leader with a strong background in operations and management. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and strategic thinker with demonstrated success in process improvement, patient throughput, and staffing optimization. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on pediatric care by supporting our teams in delivering the highest quality, patient- and family-centered care. The Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing in the organization, development and operation of the nursing department within a functional unit. As designated by the Director of Nursing, assumes responsibility for clinical operations, programs, various nurses in leadership or advanced practice roles, and/or professional support staff. The Assistant Director of Nursing participates in functional unit, department of nursing and hospital programs and/or committees. In the absence of the Assoc. CNO & Senior Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing assumes responsibility for nursing service within the functional unit.

What You Bring:



  • Masters' Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN license from the state of Maryland.
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience with a least two years' experience in nursing management; preferably inpatient pediatrics.

Salary Range: Minimum $62.12/hour - Maximum $96.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
