ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a Lead Laboratory Technician to work onsite in Manassas, VA. We are seeking a Lead Lab Tech, chemistry or related degree with prior media experience highly preferred as well as good documentation and GMP experience, to lead the media lab and support the supervisor and cross functional operations across ATCC labs. As a lead, the technician oversees the work of others, develops processes, and ensures follow-through. Responsibilities include compiling, finalizing, and reporting data and findings. The Lead Laboratory Technician determines methods for monitoring laboratory equipment and supply levels, ensuring smooth daily operations. Tasks are completed in resourceful and effective ways, drawing on specialized skills and experience. Laboratory Operations & Technical Oversight:
Lead and support daily laboratory activities, including sample preparation, testing, and media/reagent production using aseptic techniques and good laboratory practices. Ensure equipment functionality through quality control checks, troubleshooting, and calibration, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications
Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program. We Invest in You
