Overview

Founded in 1948, Memorial Blood Centers (MBC), operated by New York Blood Center Enterprises, is one of the largest community-based, nonprofit blood collection and distribution organizations in the United States. MBC operates 10 donor centers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and provides blood products, accredited reference lab services, infectious disease testing, and IVF/Reproductive Medicine services to 41 area hospitals. Responsibilities

Summary:

This person ensures that our Twin Cities donor centers are stocked with their supplies for daily operations. They will also support shipping and receiving functions throughout the organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm (this posting is for internal MBC applicants only)

Job Responsibilities:

    Receives daily requisitions from various donor centers and check for possible problems
  • Cart up supplies according to what is on the order sheet onto a dolly and deliver requisitioned stock, non-stock, and all essential materials to donor centers
  • Operates company vehicles and observes all driving safety rules and regulations
  • Stocking donor center supply room with their supplies
  • Provide support for shipping and receiving filling supply orders for other departments
  • Kitting and filling supply orders for mobile blood drives

The hourly range is between $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Operating a pallet jack and dolly onloading / offloading a vehicle

1 year of general delivery experience

Strong time management and customer service skills

Box Truck Delivery preferred

Other:

Valid Driver's License

DOT Medical Certification, or ability to obtain

Able to repetitively lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds

Stand for long periods of time and get in and out of delivery truck
