How You'll Make an Impact
Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and fixed assets
Analyze project costs and conduct variance reviews with operations teams
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance metrics
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Drive process improvements using ERP systems and reporting tools
Collaborate on audits and internal control initiatives
Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
