As a Commissioning Material Coordinator at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable execution of commissioning and pre-commissioning activities. This role also includes oversight of commissioning material coordination to support operational readiness and asset integrity. You will contribute to the delivery of projects that align with our strategic ambition of enabling sustainable transformation across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. Your work supports the safe start-up of facilities and ensures that all required systems, equipment, and materials are in place, functional, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for new and existing facilities.

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to engineers, technicians, and client personnel during system testing, troubleshooting, and start-up operations.

  • Manage the receipt, tracking, storage, and issuance of materials required for commissioning activities.

  • Collaborate with procurement, construction, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of commissioning materials and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of commissioning spares, consumables, tools, and test equipment, ensuring traceability and compliance with project specifications.

  • Develop and implement commissioning execution plans, test procedures, and checklists aligned with project and regulatory requirements.

  • Troubleshoot systems and equipment during commissioning to identify and resolve operational or performance issues.

  • Support training activities for client and operational teams to ensure safe and effective transfer of operational knowledge.

  • Provide regular updates on commissioning progress and material readiness through reporting, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.

  • Promote and uphold Worley's safety culture and sustainability goals throughout all commissioning and material coordination processes.

Qualifications / Skillset:

  • University degree in engineering, project management, logistics, or related technical field; or equivalent trade qualifications with practical commissioning and material handling experience.

  • Broad and advanced experience in commissioning disciplines, with additional specialization in material coordination for large industrial projects.

  • Strong understanding of commissioning systems, test procedures, and start-up practices across energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

  • Knowledge of material tracking systems, inventory control, and supply chain logistics in support of commissioning programs.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams, including technical oversight and material readiness.

  • Skilled in identifying and resolving commissioning-related technical and logistical issues.

  • Proficient in generating and maintaining commissioning documentation, tracking systems, and reports.

  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to deliver technical information and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
