Job Summary
Direct, monitor, and inspect contractor construction activities and complete related documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements and construction agreements.
Essential Functions
- Attend construction meetings with government representatives (city, county, state) to obtain and provide construction project updates, and relay the information to the crews and management.
- Provide accurate and complete field construction documentation including a detailed list of materials used on the job and ensure timely processing of related records to maintain the integrity and accuracy of company record systems.
- Review and prepares daily progress reports for compliance with applicable contracts and agreements.
- Respond to customer inquiries for construction or conversion information, provides customers with project status updates and post installation troubleshooting to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the service delivery process.
- Update distribution system maps and performs various construction related and non-construction related activities as assigned to support the service delivery process during the non-construction season.
Education Description
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience
- Education or training specific to natural gas distribution system installation is preferred.
- At least one year of construction or utility operations/natural gas distribution system experience (one full construction season equivalent to one year) is preferred.

Compensation: $40,084.00 to $60,126.00 Annually
CenterPoint Energy is required by Minnesota law to provide a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum starting compensation range at the time of posting for the opportunity. This annual compensation range is specific to Minnesota and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
