We are looking for a Tax Accounting Manager to step into a pivotal role within our Finance and Accounting team. What You'll Do:



  • Own the Strategy: You will not just be following a process; you will be managing the company's tax functions with the freedom to follow your instincts and make decisions.
  • Drive Compliance & Precision: You will take the lead on preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740) and managing all federal, state, and international tax compliance.
  • Manage Key Relationships: You will act as the primary point of contact for external tax advisors and regulatory authorities, managing audits and correspondence with professionalism.
  • Innovate Processes: We value better resources and efficiency; you will identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax accuracy, utilising state-of-the-art tools.
  • Strategic Advisory: You will provide crucial tax advice to cross-functional departments, ensuring our financial decisions are tax-efficient and compliant.


This Role Requires:



  • Professional Qualification: A CPA licence is essential for this position, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (a Master's in Taxation is highly desirable).
  • Deep Expertise: You bring extensive progressive tax experience, with a specific background gained within a Big 4 Accounting Firm.
  • Technical Mastery: You possess a robust understanding of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) and have proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Autonomy: You are comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.


Bonus Points:



  • SaaS Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working within the SaaS sector.
  • Global Perspective: Familiarity with international tax issues and regulations.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in financial systems and tax software, specifically Thomson Reuters Onesource Tax Provision (OTP).

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
