Job purpose

Responsible for improving and strengthening processes. Apply technical knowledge to help team members apply creative solutions to project Specifications. Improve overall Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Allocate tasks, set priorities, and communicate project deadlines to team members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for outsourced projects, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and conducting quality checks.
  • Serve as backup to the Team Lead for team scheduling and daily task coordination.
  • Assist with the implementation and documentation of internal processes and procedures to improve onboarding and team efficiency.
  • Provide project support as needed, including checking, specifying, and handling special project tasks.
  • Guide team members through project completion, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Apply technical knowledge to support the team in developing creative, design-driven solutions.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Keep management informed on team performance, workflow progress, and project status.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, plus 6-10 years of related experience and/or training. Specialized knowledge in the field required.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, CAP, 20/20, CET Designer. Other industry-standard design software a plus but not required.
  • In-depth understanding of Global product lines and related furniture systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of furniture specifications for corporate, healthcare, and education environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, professional journals, business publications, and government regulations.
  • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Able to present information clearly and respond to questions from clients, customers, and leadership teams.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to navigate complex or ambiguous situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.

Actual base pay offered will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Global, an individual may not be hired at the high end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each potion and candidate. (If a bonus or commissions see below for additional sentence).

BONUS/COMMISSIONS

This position is also eligible for performance-based commissions based on sales volume in assigned region.
