GENERAL PURPOSE

This role efficiently receives, stores, and pulls raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely movement. Maintain proper documentation for all part tracking activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Safely operate equipment such as stand-up hi-los, order pickers, pallet carts, and forklifts; complete daily safety inspections and report issues to maintenance.

Pull materials and finished goods for orders and shipping memos with 100% record accuracy.

Verify product quantities and labeling for accuracy before shipment; double-check orders pulled by others when needed.

Load finished goods onto trailers neatly, securely, and accurately; ensure proper identification on shipping documentation.

Accurately complete all required paperwork to maintain precise inventory and shipping records.

Correctly tag and label parts to specify destination.

Consolidate raw and finished goods to optimize storage space and support efficient inventory flow.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Adhere to all corporate, plant, and departmental safety policies and procedures at all times.

Participate in inventory control activities including cycle counts, physical inventory, and location audits as needed.

Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and customer focus in all responsibilities.

Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to overall team goals.

Commit to and support all required overtime.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within your department or cross-functional teams.

Flex and adapt to support team, departmental, and plant-wide objectives.

Perform paperwork accuracy checks and quality control inspections as required.

Keep hi-lo license current and compliant with operational standards.

Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

One of the following is required: (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency.

Licenses and Certifications

If not currently holding a hi-lo license, employee must pass all required tests within thirty days of accepting the position.

Skills and Abilities

Competent in basic math skills, such as adding and subtracting.

Able to communicate effectively.

Able to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.

Willing to adapt to a continually changing environment.

Committed to team success through reliable attendance.

Must have a sense of urgency and be able to follow written and verbal instruction explicitly.

Depending on work location, must be able to move items weighing up to 360 lbs with assistance to include hi-lo's, lift assists, hand trucks, dollies and/or work teams.
