Pay Range:

$61,193.60 - $115,939.20 This position supports our clinics in Bethesda, MD ; Lansdowne, VA and Woodbridge, VA.

Candidate must live in the MD or VA area as frequent travel is required.

Position Summary:

The Regional Physician Liaison Manager - Project Management (RPLM - PM) ensures implementation of effective referral base management plan and tactics, community outreach and local marketing initiatives to increase physician referrals and patient census within each assigned territory while maintaining an individual territory. With the support of the Chief Growth & Relationship Officer (CGRO), establishes territories and liaison quotas, manages budgets and evaluates sales performance. Develops ways to improve processes and procedures. Responsible for coaching, mentoring and training Physician Liaison(s) to incrementally grow referrals within their respective territories as well as RPLM's own territory.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Mentor, coach and train Physician Liaisons on territory growth and management, CRM, budget management and tracking.

  • In individual assigned territory, establish and maintain relationships with physicians and with key strategic partners. Visit physician offices on a regular and routine basis to increase referrals.

  • Improve community outreach by partnering with local organizations, community and hospital liaisons.

  • Function collaboratively with regional management and Company physicians to develop and implement marketing programs to grow treatment volumes and meet or surpass budgeted expectations.

  • Work closely with the Physician Liaison to analyze referral patterns, insurance profitability and competitive landscape to create and executive strategy to increase new patient census.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and key strategic partners. Participate in marketing meetings with physician offices and hospitals on a regular and routine basis.

  • Drive Physician Liaison(s) activities to position Company Physicians as subject matter experts by scheduling dinners, meetings, and other educational programs for Company physicians to meet the public, other current and prospective referral physicians and hospital staff.

  • Lead and direct the development, production and distribution of the collateral and marketing materials.

  • Manage and track accurate use of current database(s) of industry contacts in CRM.

  • Create and develop new strategic marketing plans throughout various regions within the organization.

  • Ability to lead, manage, motivate and co-ordinate cross-functional teams.

  • Keep abreast of new offerings within the Company to promote new services.

  • Forecast on anticipated regional market trends and submit timely reports to CGRO.

  • Prepare required and/or requested status reports.

  • Represent the Company at health and or community events.

  • Ability to travel, including frequent overnight travel.

  • Will work at all Company locations in assigned territory and respective territories to assist in meeting needs of company.

  • Increase same store incremental new visits year over year by at least 10% in assigned territory and ensure achieved in respective territories.

  • Increase same store incremental new cancer visits year over year by at least 10% in assigned territory and ensure achieved in respective territories.

  • Oversee, monitor, and ensure various projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Attend meetings to represent respective AON practices.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Qualifications & Requirements:
  • At least two (2) years of management experience as well as two (2) or more years of oncology Physician Liaison experience.

  • College degree or experience in lieu of education required.

  • Ability to work independently in an environment where flexibility is essential.

  • Understanding and ability to analyze data and to create territory routing plans to drive incremental growth.

  • The capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while cultivating relationships with referral physicians.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills required.

  • Experience managing and tracking sales activities within Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform (ex. Salesforce.com).

  • Focus on communication, retention, leakage identification, competitive intelligence and growth of referrals within the organization.

  • Valid Driver's License, in state of residency, for travel to physician offices, clinics and community outreach events. Must comply with the Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.

  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid Florida Driver License required for travel to clinics and meetings. Must comply with the company's Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy. Required Split Limits: $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.

  • Travel: Expected to work at any company location to help meet business needs, including overnight stays: 26-50%

  • Standard Work Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours; office hours 8 am to 5:30 pm with flexible scheduling as agreed with leadership. Some evenings and weekends required.
