Aon is hiring a Sr. Learning Deployment Specialist, which is an integral part of the Global Learning and Deployment team. This role is hybrid, allowing you to work in the office and from home, based out of our Chicago location.

What the day will look like

This role will partner with various leaders and colleagues across our firm to execute all aspects of L&D programming across the region.

  • Support the implementation of the Learning & Development strategy by deploying learning programs and projects that align with the global and regional priorities.
  • Host, produce or facilitate learning programs both in-person and virtually, and prep facilitators for sessions.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including Learning Design Managers, Aon Faculty, Facilitators, Leaders, Colleagues and Third-Party Vendors, to ensure the successful delivery of learning programs and initiatives.
  • Create detailed program project plans including scope, change, quality, risk, cost/budget resource, and procurement management.
  • Provide event management and co-ordination support including material distribution, logistics and on-site delivery support.
  • Update the NA Regional Delivery Calendar, track enrollment and proactively provide programs status updates to help flag potential issues and drive participation.
  • Monitor program budgets including forecasting and monitoring all expenses, process invoices and manage Coupa and vendor set-up requests.
  • Manage Workday Learning Management System (LMS) - ensuring course setup, enrollment tracking, reporting, attendance reconciliation, updating the calendar.
  • Update training materials in conjunction with Learning Design Managers.
  • Evaluate program feedback and assess program performance to support return on investment and ongoing improvement. Provide assistance to Learning Specialists in carrying out this task, if required.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Facilitation and deployment experience, including event and project management.
  • Proven customer service and ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Organizational skills, including strong planning and project management skills, proactivity, manage multiple projects, and deliver initiatives within a short timescale with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate through what may at times be an ambiguous environment.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to work independently and with limited direction.
  • Can manipulate large amounts of data, formulate data into easy-to-read formats and be comfortable telling a story and provide insights with that data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and (LMS) and Measurement Tools (Workday and Perceptyx preference).

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $85,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
