About the Role:


We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as a Product Manager based in Miami, FL. As the Product Manager - Franchisee Products, you will drive the vision, development, and delivery of technology products used by Subway franchisees across the globe. You will lead cross-functional teams to build intuitive, scalable, and impactful solutions that support franchisee success and operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker who is both execution-focused and user-centric-someone who can translate business needs and user feedback into actionable product roadmaps and features. You will serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, technical teams, and franchisee end users, ensuring alignment across all stages of the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Collaborate with the Sr. Product Manager and key business/technology stakeholders to define and execute a product strategy aligned with Subway's global vision.
  • Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for business stakeholders, identifying opportunities, driving alignment, and ensuring consistent communication and engagement across teams.
  • Manage multiple products from ideation to release, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely delivery and measurable business value.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from franchisees, business units, and internal teams to inform feature development, prioritization, and enhancements.
  • Own and document business, functional, and product requirements; translate them into well-defined product backlog items (PBIs) and user stories.
  • Partner with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and analytics teams to design, build, and launch products that are intuitive, reliable, and effective.
  • Coordinate with product owners and scrum masters throughout the Agile development lifecycle, ensuring consistent progress and timely issue resolution.
  • Support cross-functional communication by providing regular updates, demos, and product documentation.
  • Lead and mentor a business analyst; provide guidance to other product managers and cross-functional contributors as needed.
  • Monitor product performance, track KPIs, and iterate based on data-driven insights and business priorities.
  • Assist the Director of Product Development with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.



Qualifications (some examples listed below):



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, business strategy, product ownership, or senior business analysis-ideally in a global or franchise-based environment.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies; SAFe POPM certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency with product lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex needs into clear product solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills-able to influence across business and technical teams.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and coordinate cross-functional team members.
  • Experience in the food service, retail, or franchise industry is a plus.
