The Senior Director Project Management will be a member of Crawford's Global Transformation Office leading the adoption and implementation of Crawford's product/software development life cycle across multiple teams, ensuring agile principles and practices are fully integrated into project delivery processes. The role involves supporting formalized project management disciplines, defining and overseeing program governance and facilitating key governance forums. This position will be responsible for developing and initiating methodology to steer projects toward successful completion and value creation while ensuring alignment with Crawford's strategic goals.



  • Define and evolve the organizational structure of the Project Management Office, ensuring clear ownership of responsibilities across teams.
  • Drive strategic alignment between project execution and business objectives, including value realization and return on investment.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project methodologies, guiding teams through the transition to agile methodologies.
  • Partner with Crawford Educational Services to build and socialize training around the agile framework, including agile principles, practices and tools.
  • Establish and lead enterprise-wide project governance frameworks, including demand management, sequencing/dependencies, resource planning, audit compliance, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, using visual tools and structured updates to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Support third-party risk management and vendor oversight, ensuring integration with broader project governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Own and hone project health methodology including performance metrics design and maintenance

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 12+ years' experience in project management
  • 5+ years of experience in agile coaching or practitioner role
  • Experience with software development, lifecycle methodologies, and practices
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, such as enterprise system implementations, organizational redesigns, or transformation programs.
  • Experience building and/or leading PMO governance frameworks, demand management processes, and audit readiness initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, multinational teams
  • Experience operating in a federated management model is a plus
    Proven success at embedding a value realization approach in project management
  • Proven experience leading teams through agile transformations
    Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • In depth knowledge of Scaled Agile methodologies
  • Expert-level skills in matrix management
  • Knowledgeable about process improvement best practices
  • Expertise establishing and leading governance frameworks, demand management processes, and audit readiness initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and proven success tailoring them to organizational needs
  • High level of familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP), project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps), and reporting systems
  • Strong awareness of risk & control elements involved in all stages of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Project Management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional), SPC (SAFe Program Consultant), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or similar, is required
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is a plus
