How you will make an impact:

  • Prepare samples from formulations supplied by technical team
  • Gathering lab samples from the warehouse
  • Conduct testing in accordance with ASTM and internal procedures
  • Document results of tests and log data in Excel
  • Conduct weekly lab equipment calibrations
  • Fill raw materials for lab from production stock
  • Certify sample results and ship to customers as required
  • Maintain clean workspace
  • Assist in general housekeeping
  • Willingness to adhere to Ozark Material's Quality Policy
  • Compliance with all safety rules, including using PPE issued by company

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
  • Experience in a lab environment is desired
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Self-starter and highly organized
  • Capable of lifting 50lb bags repeatedly
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
  • Must be able to conduct online research
  • Must be able to make decisions of status of materials based on procedure and direction from QSM
  • Must be able to manage time and complete work in a timely manner
  • Must be able to work successfully both independently and in a team environment
