The Opportunity:

UCF is seeking a Testing Assistant to join the dedicated team at the UCF Connect Cocoa Center. The Testing Assistant administers and monitors UCF College of Nursing academic tests/assessments for students at the UCF Cocoa Campus.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for test security, campus test inventory, supplies, and assigned equipment.

  • Administers and oversees tests according to strictly prescribed guidelines and standards; checks examinee identification and rosters, distributes test materials, and monitors the conduct of examinees.

  • Administers exams to students needing accommodations for disabilities.

  • Assists in the enforcement of test security policies and procedures before, during, and after testing.

  • Maintains testing and proctors examination per Office of Student Accessibility Services policy.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in test administration or proctoring environments.

  • Proficiency with basic technology tools used in academic environments (e.g., Microsoft Office, administrative software, etc.).


The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities:


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and students.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in professional or academic settings.

  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule based on testing needs.
