Regions Hospital has a great opportunity for an Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid remote position that will work onsite in Saint Paul weekly. This is not a fully remote position. Employees must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions.

The Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and sustaining accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives to mitigate risk and achieve and maintain compliance with regulations, statutes, and accreditation requirements. The Specialist participates in and leads onsite and virtual surveys, responds to external agency requests, partners with leaders to correct deficiencies, and executes other activities to achieve objectives and goals, with a focus on confidentiality. The Specialist also develops and presents regulatory readiness curriculum and training content organization-wide.

Work Schedule:



  • Monday-Friday, day shift, business hours.


Required Qualifications:



  • Any combination of the following (to total six years):

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Two years of experience in accreditation and regulatory compliance.
    • Three years of healthcare experience in project management.

  • Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and other related standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with building and fire codes.
  • Reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions, with the ability to work onsite in Saint Paul weekly.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree.
  • Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.


Additional Information:

This is a non-union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The salary range for this position is $86,819.20-$134,576 annually, based on experience and internal equity. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and eligible for benefits.
