We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor at our production facility in Lanett, AL.

This role will also share responsibilities at our Alabama Oxygen facility in Claiborne, AL.

Both sites produce and store oxygen.

You will gain a full understanding of all aspects of the site's responsibilities, plant operations and maintenance with a focus on leadership skills. Responsibilities will include supervision of the air separation plants operations, maintenance, safety, and record-keeping.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Experience with gen gas operations and/or air separation fractional distillation processes is preferred but is not required.

  • Maintenance experience in an industrial plant is preferred but is not required.

  • Supervisory experience with plant maintenance teams.

  • A successful track record in EH&S and Quality.

  • A self-starter with proven leadership experience.

  • Highly motivated to plan and ensure the execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards, and compliance.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with and to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated computer skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Safety performance, Safety Process compliance and process safety management.

  • Providing environmental, safety and quality training to the operations & maintenance personnel.

  • Support of all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including troubleshooting plant process problems, directly supervising daily plant activities, and driving plant projects.

  • Working with support resources to achieve productivity targets in all areas.

  • Identifying maintenance concerns, then developing and implementing corrective and preventative measures.

  • Interface with tactical planning and delivery logistics planning to ensure inventory management of the facility's products.

  • Develop and build a strong relationship with our customers.

  • 24/7 on-call responsibilities for response to plant alarms and shutdowns.

  • Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC), asset manager, regional maintenance manager, technical support team and line manager.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • 3+ years of industrial relevant work experience is required.

  • Process experience with P&ID's and safety permits is required.

  • Flexibility to provide support for local site supervisors is required.

  • Expected travel 30%.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. is required.

  • Exposure tolerance to high noise levels is required.

  • Flexibility to meet on-call and call-in demands is required.

  • The ability to perform elevated work is required.
