Position Summary As Senior Associate, Inclusive Talent Programs at New York Life, you'll be a valuable member of the Talent Acquisition organization and partner closely with the New York Life DEI Center, Employee Resource Groups, New York Life Foundation, external organizations, and workforce-readiness partners to design and execute best-in-class inclusive recruiting programs. You'll own conference and university-relations inclusion strategies, manage candidate pipelines, and support both early-career and experienced-level inclusive hiring initiatives-ensuring every candidate experiences our commitment to inclusion. --- What You'll Do: 1. Strategy & Partnership * As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, collaborate closely with the NYL DEI Center, HR Business Partners, NYL Foundation, ERG leaders and other TA colleagues to embed inclusive-attraction strategies across every recruiting function. * Co-own outreach and engagement-working side-by-side with TA partners-to optimize channels, events and programs that broaden and deepen candidate pipelines. 2. Conference & External Programs * Lead end-to-end management of recruiting events (e.g., AfroTech, ALPFA, InsurTech Connect, etc.), maximizing brand presence and ROI. * Cultivate and maintain partnerships with workforce-readiness organizations (e.g., Year Up United) and professional associations (NABA, FWA, Ascend). * Maintain an external-pipeline database; post roles with partners and track funnel metrics. 3. University & Campus Engagement * Partner with Early Career Attraction leadership to craft an inclusive campus strategy across colleges and universities. * Manage relationships with career centers, student organizations, faculty sponsors, and ambassadors. * Plan and host virtual, on-campus and in-office student treks, symposiums, panels, and workshops that showcase New York Life's culture and opportunities. 4. Inclusive Hiring Enablement * Advise recruiters and HR Business Partners on inclusive sourcing, screening, and Interviewing best practices. * Track metrics at each hiring stage and recommend process improvements. 5. Employee Resource Group Strategy * Partner with ERGs: Act as the primary Talent Acquisition liaison to all Employee Resource Groups, co-creating and executing an annual recruitment calendar of conferences, early career events, and targeted campaigns. * Governance & Collaboration: Facilitate monthly ERG/TA council meetings, maintain a governance framework for decisions and align with DEI Center, Employer Branding, and other teams as needed. * Innovate & Scale: Research emerging best practices and technologies, gather stakeholder feedback, and document success stories to continuously refine ERG-driven hiring initiatives. 6. Early Career Program Management Support * Collaborate on intern program design, execution, and full-time conversion strategies. * Contribute to broader early-career initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring alignment with inclusion goals. 7. Advisory & Thought Leadership * Serve as an internal resource on inclusive attraction topics for stakeholders and candidates. * Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative recruiting programs, sources, and technologies. 8. Reporting and Metrics * Develop and maintain recruiting dashboards and regular reports to share with TA leadership, HR Business Partners, ERG councils, and the DEI Center. * Analyze funnel and program metrics-identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities-and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to continuously optimize inclusive hiring initiatives. --- What You'll Bring: * Education & Experience: o Bachelor's degree required. o 3+ years of corporate inclusion experience, including program implementation and project management. * Core Competencies: o Strong business acumen with ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. o Excellent influencing, consultation, and negotiation skills. o Exceptional verbal and written communication across all organizational levels. * Leadership & Collaboration: o Proven ability to coach and develop peers and cross-functional partners. o Superior problem-solving, decision-making, and project-management skills in fast-paced environments. o Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines. --- Pay Transparency Salary Range:$95,000-$125,000 Overtime eligible:Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes Sales bonus eligible:No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
