Position Summary

Job Description: Project Assistant for "Bellow Forth"
Position Manager: Kaitlin Bryson

The Graduate Project Assistant (PA) will be
hired to assist with research, development, and coordination for the "Bellow
Forth" field experiment project. The primary responsibilities for this position
will include:

Establish connections and coordinate interactions with Faculty and Graduate Students in Biology/Mycology
Assist with research and strategic planning for the field experiment
Assist with project manager at the field experiment location site (Mineral Hill, New Mexico) with ecological data collection, planting seedlings, and erosion control. This would take place over at least two site visits, to take place in July/August Intersession.
Assist with project documentation and asset organization


Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

  • Graduate Student
  • Art & Ecology Experience
  • Microsoft office 365
  • Previous lab and sampling experience
  • Organized and dependable
