Pay: $94300 - $115600 / year (paid hourly)

Schedule: M - F; 8a - 5p (7a start time also available)

Location: 755 Sycamore Dr, Milpitas, CA

This position is responsible for maintaining stock of supplies for preventive maintenance and repairs for the Engineering team. Over 3,000 items in stock in a 6,000 square foot supply shop.

  • 1 direct report - Stock Management Assistant (backup for Store Manager during PTO).
  • Receive Material Request Forms from engineers. Pull parts from stock if they are stocked, or get pricing and approval to purchase if they are not stocked. Order parts to restock as needed.
  • Receive incoming materials. Match packing lists to order. Assign WO for parts back to vendor, complete, and verify. Set out parts for the engineers and notify them of the location.
  • Assist engineers with identifying the correct parts for the job.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors for special order items.
  • Create Purchase Orders for purchasing materials.
  • Get approvals from Operations and FM for purchasing materials.
  • Code Purchase Orders and Work orders so the materials fall in the correct budget.
  • Keep Chief, Assistant Chiefs, Ops managers updated on work orders where crane lifts or other special considerations are involved for the parts.
  • Track stock items and reorder as needed.
  • Keep work orders up-to-date with notes and due date extensions.
  • Work with vendors and Finance to resolve vendor payment issues.
  • Order parts and materials for FM and operations.
  • Work with the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer to procure tools and supplies for the Engineering team as needed.
  • Order materials for safety and compliance; work boots, eyewash station materials, eye and ear protection, hazardous waste labels, spill kits, etc.
  • Other tasks will be assigned based on Business needs

Requirements

  • 3+ years building maintenance, stockroom or warehouse experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work on the computer for extended periods of time. Extensive use of Corrigo Computerized Maintenance Management System, JLL Marketplace, Box spreadsheets, Excel.
  • Strong organizational and data entry skills.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

87,000.00 - 95,700.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
