The Resource Investment Strategy organization is responsible for driving Microsoft resource allocation rigor across Microsoft's portfolio. It is an exciting and fast-evolving team that partners deeply with engineering leaders to ensure $20B+ resources across ~100K engineering FTEs are continuously aligned to strategic engineering priorities. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team. ResponsibilitiesBusiness and Finance Partnership: Provide strategic leadership to top Engineering and Finance leaders to drive operating leverage through resource allocation and investment optimization by giving visibility to the current resource landscape, analyzing macro-level results, and applying systems thinking to identify and recommend levers to influence decision-making. Business Health: Drive process excellence while partnering across Engineering and Finance to continuously assess the overall health of the business and understand key drivers to identify opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs. Ensure resources and investments are constantly aligned with business strategy, product engineering roadmaps, and company priorities. Thought Leadership: Establish and leverage holistic analytical framework and best practices across Finance to spot and anticipate trends and deliver insights to unlock greater efficiencies for resource allocation and investment spend.
