We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team.In this role, you will help build a world-class platform that enables customers - from pro developers to business users - to create, deploy, and manage AI-powered agents using natural language, low-code tools, rich orchestration and agentic capabilities.We operate like a startup within Microsoft and are a highly-collaborative team within one of Microsoft's growing divisions. We are working at the intersection of large language models (LLMs), conversational UX, scalable microservices, and enterprise-grade compliance. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, designers, other engineering teams and customers to define and refine requirements for new features.Architect, design, and implement scalable microservices and back-end components to enhance user experiencesServe as the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for assigned systems, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and on-call support.Develop and maintain capabilities such as agent templates, generative AI evaluation platforms, multiagent orchestration, and AI metrics pipelines.Implement and enforce security best practices, governance controls, and enterprise readiness.Build tooling to support code-first scenarios: SDKs, pipelines to bring custom models & new capabilities.Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver cohesive, user-friendly workflows. |
