Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SQL Integration Developer who will design and implement robust interfaces between various records management systems and the LeadsOnline platform. This role is critical in ensuring seamless data flow from diverse law enforcement and business systems into our central database, enabling investigators to access comprehensive, real-time information for solving cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust interfaces between various records management systems and the LeadsOnline platform
- Create sophisticated data mapping solutions to standardize information from diverse source systems
- Develop and maintain complex SQL Server procedures and queries for efficient data extraction and transformation
- Configure and manage secure file transfer (SFTP) systems for reliable data exchange with external partners
- Implement automated validation routines to ensure data integrity throughout the integration pipeline
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues promptly, providing exceptional technical support to stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective integration solutions
- Produce comprehensive documentation of integration architectures and data flows
- Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive information during data transfers
- Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of integration processes
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced SQL programming, including complex queries and stored procedures
- Demonstrated experience developing ETL solutions and data integration interfaces
- Proficiency in designing data mapping solutions and standardizing information across disparate systems
- Experience creating customized data exports in various formats (CSV, XML, JSON) that seamlessly integrate with destination systems
- Experience with data quality assurance techniques including data profiling, cleansing, and validation
- Understanding of data security and privacy best practices, especially for sensitive information
- Excellent analytical abilities with proven success diagnosing and resolving complex integration challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms - e.g. relational, NoSQL, and database as a service (DBSaaS)
- Knowledge of records management systems, particularly those used in law enforcement or related fields
- Experience configuring and managing secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) and related data exchange systems
- Knowledge of API integration methods
- Previous software development experience preferred
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code and configuration
- Familiarity with Windows PowerShell scripting for automation of routine tasks
- Previous experience in a client-facing technical role
- Background in retail, pawn, or law enforcement sectors
