Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek additional psychologist faculty to continue to build our clinical enterprise. The mission of the Department of Psychiatry amp; Behavioral Health is to improve, advance, and innovate behavioral healthcare and foster resilience in our patients and communities. Our emphasis across conditions is on delivery and development of empirically supported treatments and approaches. We are interested in candidates that complement our current strengths and support our tripartite mission patient care, education, and clinical research. The successful candidates will join a 65+-member Section of Psychology, which offers robust clinical and research training opportunities, including externship experiences, psychology pre-doctoral internship, and several fellowship programs. We currently have several open positions to support our growth. While area of specialization is open, we are particularly interested in candidates with clinical and/or research expertise in areas for strategic investment that complement our existing strengths in Womens Behavioral Health, Anxiety/OC Disorders, and ADHD assessment and treatment. We also welcome candidates with interests that align with our programs of distinction in Depression Recovery and EPICENTER/Psychosis, as well as a clinical health psychologist to support our Comprehensive Weight Management, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery program. Requirements Doctoral Degree in Psychology. Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio. Applicants must be from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program (with an accredited clinical internship) and be licensed in Ohio by the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates with previous training/experience in an academic medical center and those with at least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience.Early-career faculty are encouraged to apply.
