Are you passionate about storytelling, hospitality, and creating scroll-stopping content? We're looking for a creative, self-driven Social Media Specialist to shape the online voice of three standout hotels-each with its own personality, audience, and story to tell. From historic charm to modern luxury, you'll lead the charge in building authentic engagement, growing our digital communities, and capturing the moments that make our guest experiences unforgettable.
This role supports:
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront, a vibrant, all-suite hotel along the Rock River featuring two full-service restaurants, a rooftop bar, indoor pool, gaming room, and more than 30,000 square feet of event space.
- The Brewhouse Inn & Suites, a one-of-a-kind historic hotel in Milwaukee's Brewery District, offering industrial-chic suites inside a preserved brewery, complete with exposed cream city brick, original brewing kettles, and an onsite gastropub.
- The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, an 80-room boutique hotel in downtown Kenosha, housed in a beautifully restored early-1900s building with a grand ballroom, cafe, restaurant, and lively event spaces.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute original social media strategies tailored to each hotel's brand and audience
- Create, curate, and schedule content (photo, video, written) across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X
- Film and edit high-quality short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, events, team culture, and guest experiences
- Monitor platforms and engage with followers-responding to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand voice
- Analyze performance metrics and audience insights to continually refine content strategies
- Collaborate closely with marketing, events, and hotel teams to support promotions, campaigns, and special initiatives
- Manage paid promotions and targeted boosts to amplify reach and engagement
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- At least one year of hands-on experience in social media, ideally in hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle brands
- Strong video creation and editing skills-especially for TikTok and Reels
- Creative, clear copywriting skills with a strong understanding of brand voice
- Proficiency with social media management tools and basic design platforms like Canva (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple brands, and juggling shifting priorities
- A natural storyteller who stays ahead of trends and knows how to turn a moment into meaningful engagement
