Sunstate Equipment Company is hiring a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist, responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent aligned with organizational goals. This role leverages deep market knowledge, data insights, and a consultative approach to deliver timely solutions that meet market-driven challenges. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Talent Acquisition process and is knowledgeable about hiring laws and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Support the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company's goals and objective
- Collaborate with managers and business leaders to address workforce planning and talent needs
- Develop a strong candidate pipeline through creative and strategic sourcing and talent attraction methods
- Deliver a quality candidate experience from impression to onboarding through effective branding, process management, and communication practices
- Support strategic talent acquisition efforts to include early career and campus recruiting efforts
- Train, coach and guide managers on effective interviewing practices, and ensure alignment to TA processes
- Partner with hiring teams to develop a deep understanding of the industry, markets, and branch-based needs
- Keep a well-maintained record of candidates, statuses, and requisitions to ensure effective reporting and accuracy
- Participate in strategic company initiatives for the purpose of driving and delivering quality through Talent Acquisition
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Deep understanding of talent acquisition, talent attraction, employer branding, and process management
- Strong knowledge of compliant and effective interview practices, including an understanding of state-specific labor and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers
- Strong organizational capabilities with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Adept at managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in developing and delivering sourcing strategies
- Consultative in nature, with the ability to deliver a stellar hiring experience to hiring teams and candidates alike; coaching, counseling, and guiding hiring teams through the process
- Proficient in managing data through various methods, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and other recruitment software to source candidates, manage applications, and track recruitment metrics
