Our Company PharMerica Overview The Client Billing Team Lead is a subject matter expert (SME) on the company's Census and Billing practices, internal databases, reporting tools, and policies and procedures. The Team Lead is a SME on all functions performed by both Census Associates I & II and Billing Associates I & II and acts as a trainer and mentor to both. Responsible for ensuring census updates reported are processed timely and accurately, charges are entered timely and accurately, and that all necessary procedures are completed prior to invoicing, and statements are finalized, in accordance with contract and PharMerica's Client Billing Services Policies and Procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to move from a retail to office environment for those who are willing to learn claims, billing and insurance processing. Pharmacy Technician experience and/or knowledge of pharmaceuticals is a strong preference. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Billing and/or Collections experience with a preference in heathcare billing. This is a remote position. Applicants can live anywhere within the continental USA. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm Pacific time zone Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
