In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for executing full product and process quality responsibilities, establishing and maintaining comprehensive quality management and control processes, methods, and tools. You'll take charge of managing project timelines, budgets, scopes, risks, and dependencies, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery. What you will do:
- The Product Quality Leader (PQL) leads a cross-functional quality improvement team to execute and fulfill established quality plans, focusing on targets like yield, DPPM, inspection fault rate, CPK, customer claims, and repairs, ensuring product KPIs are met.
- Be responsible for driving quality assurance, the PQL provides reports to the Project Manager and stakeholders, offering technical recommendations and consequence analyses at each project milestone.
- Support the Project Manager with a quality perspective throughout each phase of NPI, TPI, GPI, and maintenance projects, contributing to producibility, reliability, and risk management.
- Leads the FRAG forum, continuously analyzing yield, claims, and repairs using necessary systems, tools, and Six Sigma methods, collaborating with engineers to resolve critical issues.
- Holds authority to independently perform tasks necessary to meet responsibilities, with delegated formal leadership from the Plant Quality Engineering Manager.
- Takes ownership of Quality Alerts and has access to all required information, systems, and tools to ensure product quality and carry out FRAG work.
- Manages risk decisions related to process exemptions when timing is crucial, ensuring competitive advantage.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 5 years of experience managing teams in quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong preference for experience with Surface Mount Technology and Automated Assembly processes.
- Solid working knowledge of quality management methods and tools, such as Six Sigma, APQP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and ISO 9001.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and present data analytics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated initiative, proactive approach, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.

New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date.
