Responsible for definition, planning and execution of testing efforts. Participate in quality assurance and metrics architecture projects. Define criteria for testing, analyze results of testing sessions and presents results to Quality Assurance leadership. Analyzes more complex systems requirements. Resolve more complex problems detected in testing. Analyze and monitor the effectiveness of the use of technology in QA processes. Develop Automation scripts for functional and Regression testing and integrated with CICD pipeline. Recommend new products and provide guidance and expertise in their development. Identify and document software and systems defects. Provide solutions to resolve defect. Contribute to the achievement of area objectives. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. SALARY RANGE AND WORK SCHEDULE: $150,280.00 to $179,000.00 per year and 40 hours/week WORK LOCATION: One Pershing Plaza, 95 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, NJ, 07399 REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering (Any), or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Utilizing Agile methodologies to promote collaboration and adaptability in software development projects; Designing automated test framework using appropriate Page Object Model and Behavioral Data-Driven Testing as applicable to the databases of application using Oracle, DB2 and Snowflakes; Utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Python to develop and maintain high-quality software products for UI web Application; Utilizing Rest Assured API for granular API testing and achieving maximum test coverage with minimal testing timelines; Comparing data between source and target databases in financial systems by writing complex SQL queries using JDBC library; Applying Orthogonal Array Testing Techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness; and Monitoring and Analyzing Continuous Integration for Smoke, Functional and Regression Test Script automatically by scheduling pipeline in Gitlab. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $150,280.00 to $179,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of The Bank of New York Mellon total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
