The Corporate Revenue Cycle Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Revenue Cycle Analyst-Revenue Integrity.

The Revenue Cycle Analyst - Revenue Integrity is responsible for assessing current revenue cycle processes and workflows; identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements, collaborating with teams (e.g., registration, billing, charging, coding, collections, and denials management) to streamline processes, reduce and recover denials, and optimize cash flow; and analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Revenue Cycle Analysts perform a broad range of Revenue Cycle support functions including system maintenance, data analysis, report creation, and process improvement activities with oversight from other team members and management.

Revenue Cycle Analysts performing Revenue Integrity functions are responsible for zing revenue, supporting clinical and other colleagues in optimizing accurate charge capture, interpreting government regulations and payer requirements, and maintaining the chargemaster.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preforms daily maintenance of the CDM, assists with Revenue Integrity reviews and audits, and maintains maintenance logs of CDM changes.
  • Communicates CDM maintenance activities to clinical departments and information systems staff to implement necessary changes that affect charge identification, capture, reconciliation, and claim processing.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of revenue cycle management software and tools based on end user requests and regulatory guidance.
  • Generates reports related to revenue cycle metrics, such as CDM accuracy, charge capture, claim denials, write-offs, and payment delays, and assist in analyzing trends.
  • In collaboration with team members, documents processes, workflows and education related to revenue cycle activities for internal reference and training purposes.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or related field. Significant Revenue Cycle experience (i.e., 5+ years in addition to the minimum) might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements.
  • 3-5 years of related experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle operations, including an understanding of registration, charging, billing, collections, and denials management processes.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills, proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.), and the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.

Travel Requirements: Up to 15% domestic travel dependent on business need.
