The Project Manager, Merch Operations serves as an internal lead for a wide range of initiatives-from single-focus tasks to complex, multi-phase projects-supporting the product creation lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing timelines, streamlining workflows, and ensuring clear communication of processes and progress. The Project Manager drives execution of approved solutions to meet project goals and deadlines. What Will You Be Doing?
- Act as a subject matter expert on the product creation process, providing strategic guidance to cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
- Own and manage the product creation calendar, identifying efficiencies and applying best practices to optimize timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars for all merchandising and design activities; collaborate with partners to develop tailored timelines across seasons and product categories.
- Lead day-to-day project and workflow management, ensuring consistent communication of procedures, milestones, and status updates.
- Ensure team alignment with the product creation calendar and adherence to key deadlines.
- Secure necessary approvals to advance projects through each phase.
- Participate in cross-functional sessions to identify business needs and propose process improvements.
- Establish and uphold organizational standards for documentation and workflow maintenance.
- Support planning efforts for specialized business areas, recommending and implementing enhancements to tools and processes.
- Monitor project progress, develop communication materials, and proactively resolve outstanding issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of project management experience
- 1-3 years of experience within an apparel product creation organization
- Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills and experience with project management tools and calendars
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Detail oriented with clear understanding of overall objectives
What's Our Offer? Salary Range: You`ll earn between $77,970 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off. What Should You Expect? Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
