The AMSOIL Marketing team has a great opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager for our Industrial segment of business. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated marketing professional with proven experience in industrial markets, such as metalworking/metal stamping, foundries and steel, pulp and paper, and plastics manufacturing. In this high-impact role, you'll develop and execute marketing strategies that build awareness and drive growth in key markets through successful ad generation and nurturing campaigns for AMSOIL Industrial. This is a remote, work-from-home position but may report to headquarters in Superior, WI on an as-needed basis. Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Work with Director, Integrated Marketing to develop and implement the Industrial Integrated Marketing Strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create and oversee Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plans to target key industrial markets.
- Manage and develop integrated content strategies including blog content, whitepapers, case studies, technical content, and sales enablement tools.
- Lead product and market launch campaigns, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and technical teams.
Content & Communication Strategy
- Oversee Lubrication Logics content: technical content strategy, blog creation, and development.
- Drive the creation of high-value content such as whitepapers, case studies, testimonials, and customer success stories.
- Lead development of the blog content calendar and editorial strategy to support SEO, thought leadership, and lead generation.
Tradeshow & Campaign Execution
- Manage overall tradeshow strategy, including attendance planning, booth booking, and individual show strategies.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns with strong storytelling and cross-channel execution.
Sales Enablement & Customer Journey
- Develop a sales enablement collateral strategy that aligns with buyer journey stages and industrial personas.
- Build and maintain a journey mapping strategy to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
Digital & Web
- Guide website content development to ensure technical accuracy, SEO optimization, and audience engagement.
- Assist with social media as needed.
Analytics & Budgeting
- Work with Director of Integrated Marketing to develop and maintain the industrial marketing budget, ensuring ROI-driven investments.
- Establish and monitor funnel attribution models to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Sales to optimize lead generation and conversion strategy through data insights.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a team of integrated industrial marketing team members, including direct and dotted-line reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Technical, and Product teams to executive on strategy and deliver key projects and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal communications and graphics agencies to bring strategies to life through aligned messaging and visual execution.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to ensure team alignment with strategic goals.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business, marketing or other related field or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of related marketing experience with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership
- Effective decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail
- Budget management experience
- Knowledge of marketing trends, best practices and resources
- Self-motivated person with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple competing projects and shifting priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
- Available and eligible to travel up to 10% of time by plane and/or car
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing
- Experience with Account Based Marketing concepts
- Experience working in B2B marketing landscape
- Experience in industrial markets - metalworking/metal stamping, foundry and steel mill and plastics
- Passion for and/or knowledge of lead generation processes and activities
- Experience planning and executing tradeshows
