Job Summary

Prepare, reconcile and maintain all Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable information as assigned, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Work in Excel, internal systems, banking and vendor platforms, process bank deposits, check traces, invoicing and other daily work. Self-motivated and able to investigate and resolve more complex inquiries, meet deadlines, prioritize work, and communicate appropriately internally and externally as needed.

Essential Functions
  • Prepares, enters, maintains, and reconciles data in the accounts payable system.
  • Works with vendors and all levels of internal staff to resolve invoice and coding problems, pay invoices within the organization's terms, and handle special requests as needed.
  • Maintains files in an organized manner to ensure invoice documentation is maintained (includes optical scanning).
  • Adapts to changing internal and external environment pertaining to accounts payable.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.
  • Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.
  • Performs daily activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities.
Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience business office, accounts payable, accounting, finance, health plan administration, and/or customer service experience
