Job Summary Perform genetic and neuronal circuit analysis of hypothalamic neurons that regulate sleep in zebrafish. Essential Job Duties Design and conduct experiments to determine how hypothalamic neurons regulate sleep in zebrafish using genetics and neural circuit analyses (70%). Perform zebrafish whole-brain imaging experiments (20%). Work with Principal Investigator to initiate, draft, and submit scientific papers describing research findings (10%). Basic Qualifications PhD in neuroscience or genetics with 8+ years of relevant postdoctoral research experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with zebrafish genetics and neural circuit-based experimental techniques. Required Documents Resume. Hiring Range $71,000 - $105,500 Per Year The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
