Finishing Tech- Powder Coating/Blasting Experience a Must!

The Powder Coating Technician (powder booth and blast room) will be responsible for product and material flow through the finishing process, utilizing powder coat paint techniques and equipment, semi-automated wash bay and digital curing oven.

• Clean and prepare parts in manners such as sanding, priming and sandblasting, for powder coating applications
• Operate curing oven and wash bay
• Apply powder coat to parts using a hand-held Wagner powder sprayer
• Perform color changes and booth set up in a timely manner
• Transport finished and unfinished product to and from the work area using a forklift
• Perform work in adherence with quality standards
• Practice safe work habits, following safety guidelines with respect to operation and personal safety gear, and support safety initiatives
• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with powder paint application techniques and equipment, curing oven operation & must be able to ready diagrams/prints

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to lift up to 60lbs repetitively and frequently & up to 80lbs occasionally without assistance or equipment at heights

above or below shoulder. Ability to perform tasks involving constant periods of standing, constant hand/eye coordination along w/balance, frequent stopping/bending
