The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students.

MHS is seeking an Accountant to support the school's financial operations through accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. This position plays an important role in maintaining strong internal controls, assisting with cash management activities, and supporting the purchasing card program administration. Process improvement, auditing support, and tax compliance are also responsibilities of the position.

This is an onsite position that compensates between $70,000 and $94,000 annually, depending upon years of experience, and includes an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an accounting role with a working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Excel, Word, databases, and ERP systems. (PeopleSoft experience is a plus).
  • Financial Expertise: Proven ability in financial statements and accounting, as well as cash management and tax compliance.
  • Audit & Controls: Experience working with external auditors and implementing/evaluating internal controls.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills ensuring accuracy and precision in financial reporting.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Work Style: Self-motivated, results-driven professional able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
