The Quality Engineer will develop, maintain, and support ISCO's Quality management system (QMS) and underlying requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, conduct audits and inspections as required. Drive continuous improvements through all aspects of the ISCO QMS, and work diligently to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Manage and expediently resolve reported internal and external Quality issues via coordination with organizational stakeholders and administer reported issue logs including, but not limited to, nonconformances, corrective actions, and product review assessments.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) processes and documentation, including development of new QMS processes and documentation when required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on quality standards, providing training and guidance relevant to ISCO products.
  • Recommend, champion, and implement program enhancements.
  • Provide subject-matter-expert level training for end users on both standard processes and new QMS processes.
  • Perform Quality audits at ISCO facilities.
  • Research, develop, document, and implement best in-class processes by combining personal ingenuity with organizational wisdom and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate internally to improve products in a manner that achieves organizational vision for safety, quality, on-time delivery and product cost reduction.
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues while displaying and promoting vision of positive and engaging organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with ISCO's Capitol Project Management team to gather and apply best practices across facilities, and champion a culture of quality and internal customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1-3 years' experience in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
  • Associate's degree in engineering with 2-5 years' experience in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality principles
  • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency and experience with ERP systems.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Required or Black Belt Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written

Education
Bachelors of Engineering (preferred)
Associates of Engineering (preferred)
Experience
2 - 5 years: Engineering or equivalent technical discipline (preferred)
