The Sales Program Manager is accountable for ensuring customer satisfaction and serves as the primary liaison for assigned customer accounts. This role leads the Account Team, develops and executes strategic plans, and ensures alignment with McLane's service and profitability objectives as directed by senior leadership. - Pay rate: $65,000 to $80,000 per year.
- This role is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 10% of your base annual salary.

What you'll do as a Sales Program Manager:
- Prepare and manage administrative responsibilities, including monthly reports and billing statements.
- Lead the communication, training, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of customer-driven initiatives.
- Manage the Contingency Program by:
- Collaborating with the Procurement Team to maintain an up-to-date supply plan and ensure timely product rotation.
- Coordinating with contingency distribution centers (DCs) regarding will-call orders and contingency deliveries.
- Partnering with the Accounting Team to establish contingency restaurant accounts in the appropriate DCs.
- Serve as the primary contact for resolving distribution issues in collaboration with DC personnel.
- Monitor and verify communication between DC staff and Chick-fil-A (CFA) representatives to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct biannual delivery frequency validations across all distribution centers.
- Generate and deliver ad hoc reports in response to customer requests.
- Develop and document procedures for distribution parameters and issue resolution, working collaboratively with relevant McLane departments.
- Maintain proactive customer engagement through structured visitation programs-both in-person and remote-to strengthen relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Lead startup and transition efforts for new accounts or product categories, including:
- Developing comprehensive implementation plans.
- Organizing rollout meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Executing and tracking progress using operational checklists to ensure smooth transitions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Program Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in a progressively responsible position preferably in purchasing or sales.
- Working knowledge of principle food service disciplines including purchasing, customer service, accounting, warehousing, and transportation.
- Proven ability to achieve results through persistent negotiations, appropriate allocation of resources, strong communication skills, and good judgment.
- Ability to establish and maintain a range of contacts within and outside the Company in a highly professional manner; must be tactful and articulate.
- Must be well versed on current market trends.
- Must be able to quantifiably measure the profitability status of assigned accounts at any given time and working knowledge of finance and profit and loss statements.
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
