Position Overview
We're seeking a Contract Content Manager specializing in Digital Optimization to manage and elevate our digital content presence across multiple platforms, including YouTube, website, and social media. This 30-hour/week role is ideal for a self-starter eager to grow in the digital space. You'll work remotely and collaborate with content, creative, and marketing teams to develop high-impact content strategies.

The hiring manager is open to candidates newer to the industry who are enthusiastic about learning and growing into the role.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Content Development & Management


  • Develop engaging multimedia content in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Contribute to and manage the content calendar.
  • Ensure brand voice and consistency across all digital channels.


YouTube Channel Optimization

  • Own and optimize the YouTube channel, including content strategy, descriptions, tagging, playlists, and performance tracking.
  • Analyze YouTube metrics and provide content improvement recommendations.
  • Use tools like QuickTime or Canva for basic video editing and thumbnail creation.


Website Content Collaboration

  • Coordinate with digital and web teams to create and optimize website content.
  • Ensure web content aligns with accessibility and quality standards.
  • Maintain content governance practices.


Social Media Collaboration:

  • Partner with social teams to create compelling social media content.
  • Support paid and organic content strategy through digital optimization best practices.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

    (Associate's degree acceptable with strong relevant experience)
  • 3+ years in digital content management or marketing.
  • Experience with YouTube channel optimization.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • General understanding of AI tools and digital trends.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Google Analytics certification.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Background in video production/editing.


Skills & Competencies:


  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization.
  • Proactive, independent worker.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a remote setting.


Contractor Requirements:


  • Must provide own computer and software.
  • Reliable high-speed internet for remote work.
  • Availability for virtual meetings during core hours.
  • Weekly invoice submission required.
