Description:

Responsible for providing project management support to an information technology (IT) organization responsible for implementing and sustaining a robust IT benchmarking capability. Responsible for identifying critical tasks, managing project meetings and suspense dates for action items, and preparing executive presentations to senior leadership. Performs IT benchmarking pre-assessment visit activities which include participating in and recording the results of customer interviews, evaluating responses from pre-assessment questionnaires, and developing follow up questions for visit interviews. Provides Benchmarking Assessment visit support to include recording comments and feedback during subject matter expert interviews, collecting observations and generating an out-briefing presentation to senior officials.

Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and creating a final report which includes observations, recommendations, and alternatives for best practices. Responsible for tracking the status of assigned actions for both best practices and IT service improvement opportunities. Develops and delivers IT benchmarking standard operating procedures, processes, templates, examples, checklists, tools, and policies for inclusion in a process library to support the advancement of the IT benchmarking program.

Minimum Experience:
  • Eight (8) years relevant project management experience and/or a Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.).
    • DAWIA, Master Black Belt (MBB), and SAFe Agile certification, such as Product Owner (CSPO, POPM, PSPO) and SAFe Agilest will be considered as "other recognized certification".
  • Five (5) years JCXS CBE Tools experience (directly relevant) or other OCONUS Contingency Contracting Application types.
    • CBE Tools include 3in1 NGEN, AGATRS, JCCS, CAAMS, TBC, GFLSV and ADW
  • Must possess IT-I security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with written Inquiries (NACI).
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • IT project management experience using various Microsoft tools.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing information technology services and strategies.
  • Proficiency in basic analytical software such as Microsoft Excel and Access, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, to include Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project Management.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.

To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.
