Auria is looking to hire a Software Test Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges at every phase of flight. C2BMC is critical for all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise the capabilities of all current and future missile defense systems. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: As member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing). Occasional Travel between Colorado Springs facilities/sites (LM Federal Drive facility to Schriever SFB) and between Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL is expected. WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance. 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience, or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND) is required to start Prior experience in an Agile development process Prior experience testing and verifying requirements in software applications/systems. Experience conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data; and development of action plans based upon analysis of data Experience documenting software deficiency reports Experience presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document) The ideal candidate will possess Knowledge and experience in testing and evaluation of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development This position will require a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: Automated testing for requirement verification Performance requirement and verification analysis Verification of ICD and interface requirements Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000.
