Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Baltimore, Maryland The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Nocturnist for the Combined Internal Medicine Services (CIMS) is an independent Acute Care Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, professional health care provider who, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to acutely ill general medicine inpatients. The APP is responsible for performing procedures for the general medicine patient population, works nights and weekend nights, and attends at least one divisional meeting a month. Please consult APP Written Agreement for specific skills and knowledge. Shifts: Fulltime (40 hours); 12 hour night shifts Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Physician Assistant Program or MSN/DNP. Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner isrequired, along with CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure Current BLS Healthcare provider and ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross accepted) Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS) enrollment required for Medicareordering purposes Work Experience: At least one year of related experience at Johns Hopkins affiliates or other academic teaching hospitals. Candidate must have the ability to work independently in managing clinical, consult, and procedural services. APPs are responsible for, and are able to perform up to the standard patient volume caps set by the division. Salary Range: Minimum $53.15/hour - Maximum $82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
