Leads Online is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Federal Sales Leader to lead our sales efforts targeting the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), U.S. Federal Government, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and large state-level law enforcement agencies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal and large state procurement processes and will leverage our portfolio of cutting-edge software and hardware solutions designed to assist law enforcement officials in solving crimes, tracking tips and leads, analyzing ballistic evidence, and gathering and analyzing data for crime-solving efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Sales Leadership: Lead and execute the sales strategy for engaging with key federal government agencies, including ATF, other U.S. federal law enforcement entities, RCMP, and large state agencies. Drive revenue growth through strategic account management, relationship building, and solution selling.


    • Act with ownership, taking full responsibility for the success of your team and clients, while striving for continuous improvement.


  • Government Contracts and Procurement: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of federal and state-level procurement and acquisition processes. Navigate government contracts (including GSA schedules) and work with internal teams to develop competitive proposals.


    • Deliver excellent service by providing joyful, selfless, and effective solutions tailored to the needs of law enforcement agencies.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in federal and state law enforcement agencies. Act as the company's primary point of contact for existing and potential customers in these sectors, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.


    • Foster a collaborative environment where people and their unique talents are prioritized over transactions.


  • Product Knowledge: Become a subject matter expert on Leads Online's software and hardware solutions, particularly those that assist law enforcement in crime-solving tasks such as ballistics analysis, tip/lead tracking, and other analytical data collection.


    • Embody contagious energy and a strong sense of purpose when demonstrating the impact of our solutions on public safety goals.


  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans for key federal and state government clients. Drive long-term business opportunities and maximize revenue growth from both new and existing accounts.


    • Collaborate selflessly across teams to ensure that every action contributes to the success of clients and the company.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client needs and align with public safety goals.


    • Celebrate teamwork and collaboration as essential drivers of innovation and client satisfaction.


  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with federal government policies, trends in public safety technology, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.


    • Act decisively and optimistically when responding to emerging trends and challenges in the industry.



Who You Are:

Qualifications:



  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in federal and state government sales, with a focus on law enforcement or public safety technology
  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in federal and state government sales, preferably within the law enforcement or public safety technology sector
  • Deep knowledge of procurement processes in federal agencies, particularly the ATF, and familiarity with the RCMP procurement environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on consultative selling and relationship management
  • Strong understanding of software and hardware products related to crime-solving, analytics, and public safety
  • Experience working with law enforcement agencies and a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events


Preferred Skills:



  • Knowledge of law enforcement technology, including ballistics analysis software, crime-solving analytics, and data collection tools
  • Familiarity with federal contracting vehicles such as GSA schedules, and knowledge of state procurement processes
  • Experience in managing large sales pipelines and closing large, complex deals as well as smaller dollar, high-volume sales motions
  • Background in selling SaaS, services, and hardware products
