  • The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating domestic operations with some input to international operations to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing cross-functional teams, and driving performance improvements across various regions. The Senior Manager collaborates with regional leaders to identify and address operational challenges, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills to foster a culture of excellence and innovation, while maintaining a focus on cost efficiency and risk management.

Position Overview:

  • This role will provide direction and leadership to the Physical Badge Production, Facility Access Control Management (including administration and programming), and the Program Management Office (PMO) teams within his/her organization. Candidate must have experiences within one or more these areas along with a good understanding of Scaled Agile. Primary responsibility will include executing on FedEx's business objectives by collaborating with stakeholders, developing a vision for modern technology solutions for physical identity and access management, and cultivating strategic partnerships to meet Global Security Technology's organizational goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates effectively with local, state, and federal authorities to identify and analyze patterns with security trends impacting our customer property, people, and/or assets at a local, national and global levels.
  • Develops and implements robust policies and procedures to help mitigate issues impacting the FedEx global network. Provide education/training to management on physical security measures, crime prevention, and accurate reporting.
  • Provides support to service centers in upholding physical security standards, conducting business maintenance, and performing vulnerability assessments to evaluate risk levels.
  • Assists operational leadership at the district, regional, and divisional levels in ensuring a safe work environment for employees by managing authorized access to facilities.
  • Continuously reassesses locations and optimizes global outside service contracts (i.e. security guards) expenditures through the application of advanced technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work/Domicile Location:

  • This position will be in Memphis (Collierville), Tennessee.

Relocation:

  • Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

  • Seven (7) years related experience in law enforcement or corporate security including two (2) years management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in criminal law pertaining to workplace violence, cargo theft and fraud on a local, state and federal level within all jurisdictions where FedEx conducts business.
  • Experience in courtroom testimony pertaining to rules of evidence and criminal law.
  • Proven ability to direct investigations while abiding by the Constitution of the United States.
  • Ability to conduct covert surveillance undetected.
  • Solid leadership, problem solving, organizational and decision making skills.
  • Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and complete required training.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $9,719.96/month - $13,121.94/month
